Uploading An EFI Live Tune File To Your EFI AutoCal/Flashcan

After acquiring your EFI Live Tune File in .BBX format via email, you might wonder what to do next. These instructions will guide you through the process of transferring the tune file onto your AutoCal/Flashscan V3 for initiating the flashing process.

What you'll require:

EFI Autocal/Flashscan V3
Laptop
EFI Live Software (Click Here)

Transferring the File from Email to AutoCal:

  1. Ensure you have the latest version of EFI Live Scan & Tune downloaded and installed on your laptop.
  2. Connect the Autocal/Flashscan V3 to your laptop using the provided USB cable.
  3. Save the received tune file (EFILIVETUNE.bbx) onto your laptop in a location where it's easily accessible.
  4. Open EFI Live Scan & Tune and click on the EFI Live Control Panel button located at the top right corner of the window to open another window.
  5. Select "F6 Firmware" on the left to check if your device needs an update. If required, proceed with the update and then close the windows.
  6. Locate the previously saved Tune File and double-click on it. This action will open EFI Live Scan & Tune and automatically direct you to the relevant page.
  7. Click on "Program Quick Setup" at the lower part of the window. A prompt will appear confirming that you're about to overwrite the current Autocal/Flashscan V3 settings. Click "YES," and the program will load the Tune File and its settings onto your device automatically.
  8. Once the process is finished, disconnect the Autocal/Flashscan V3 from the laptop.
  9. Your Autocal/Flashscan V3 is now equipped with the new tuning, and you're all set to commence the flashing process!
